IV. Sales Funnel

hype by Alex Cameron.

This chapter is where you start putting some things together. Your sales funnel is a collection of valuable items you offer your clients.

We also verge into how copywriting is done. And I will say here that while I disagree with a lot of how sales pages are currently done, they do have some statistical models showing that these pages actually do produce conversions: a viewer turned into a buyer, turned into a returning buyer – a client.

There are sales pages from earlier times, particularly those written by Robert Collier, which do not use this particular agreed upon formula.

I tell you their version so that you can know, understand, and develop your own persuasive style that closes sales for you.

The articles in this section are more lengthy (one was originally a PLR ebook before I heavily edited it) and so are worth a study on their own.

Assignment:

1. Study and make notes over this chapter and its materials. Research on the Internet to find examples (if you don’t already have personal examples from opting-in to various email newsletters).

2. Study and make notes from this chapter’s articles.

3. Compile these in sensible order into your 3-ring binder.

4. Do some tentative figure-out of what you could offer which fits your passion. (Don’t worry, it’s not final by any means…)
